Matter and Anti-matter are generally known as PARTCLE and its ANTI PARTICLE....... so when they come in contact with each other... they ll vanish each other and dissappear... this is in accordance to EINSTEIN'S mass-energy relation... here mass gets converted to energy by enhilation,.... for eg ELECTRON is a partcle and its anti particle is POSITRON....
